Useful Information About Tenerife

Tenerife, the island to Enjoy!
We welcome you to the "Island of the Eternal Spring"! In Tenerife, not only can you find the best climate in the world,
but the island is also the best place to relax and it's an interesting place for all kinds of exciting activities.
The island of Tenerife, like all the Canary Islands, is formed by a volcanic mountain chain in the Atlantic Ocean around 70km off the West coast of Morocco.
Teide dominates the skyline of Tenerife and its summit is an incredible 3,718 meters high (12,198ft). Due to the massive mountain range running through the center of the island,
Tenerife has a prominent North-South divide in terms of climate. The North side of Tenerife benefits from cooler, wetter conditions creating lush green vegetation and the South side of
Tenerife benefits from year-round sunshine and a much dryer climate. The Canary Islands also have a deep cultural heritage, shaped by Catholicism, which is reflected in the architecture,
gastronomy and fiestas in villages and towns all over the island. We hope you have the chance to explore as much of this amazing island as possible!
Do not forget - we are experts in the island and know all the best spots and events. Just ask us for our recommendations!
Over the past few decades, International tourism has flourished - Mostly in the sunny South of Tenerife which caters for all tastes, ages and nationalities.
Whether you are looking for a small secluded place to stay or want something more active in the booming club land of Playa de Las Americas,
we can guarantee there will be something here for everyone. Hikers, night owls, those interested in botany and nature, sports enthusiasts,
thrill seekers, hang-gliders, divers, swimmers, family vacationers, gay, lesbians, young (or even just "young at heart"), retired, disabled people...
Tenerife offers something for everyone. And above all else, its a fantastic place to come to and simply relax!
We highly recommend the Whale Watching excursions. Pilot Whales are the most common whale to be found in Tenerife
but there are around 21 different species which visit the waters of the Canary Islands every year.
Several sightings of Orca Whales (Killer Whales) and even the gigantic Blue Whale have been spotted very close to the coast and can be seen all year round.
The South of Tenerife is Europes' only, and most reliable place to witness these phenomenal creatures.
The two native populations of whales and dolphins (Bottle Nose Dolphins and Pilot Whales) are seen around 80% to 100% of the time while out on a whale and dolphin watching excursion in Tenerife.
One should most definitely NOT miss out on such an attraction!
